Testing Information

We provide all testing materials (test book supplement, scratch paper, E6-B, plotter, calculator, pencils & dry erase marker) and your official Airman Knowledge Test Report. Tests are $175.

How to schedule your FAA Airman Knowledge test:

Schedule your written exam here
You’ll need your FAA Tracking Number (FTN). If you do not have an FTN, register here.
Complete scheduling and payment online at least 24 hours prior to testing.
Rescheduling must be completed online at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

On the day of your appointment, be sure to arrive 15 minutes early.

Make sure to bring:

Valid photo ID with your current address
Additional address verification (outlined on page 4 here) if your address is NOT on your ID.
The applicable endorsement for your test.
